Heritage Bank Arrives in Kumasi with the Launch of Flagship Suame-Magazine Branch

Heritage Bank Limited, a wholly indigenous Ghanaian bank which commenced business operations in February this year, has made an incursion into Kumasi with the launch of a State-of-the-art Branch in Suame-Magazine.  The new Branch which is located in the heart of the Suame-Magazine business hub underscores the Bank’s promise to bring its refreshing brand of convenient banking closer to customers within the various communities it serves.

The massively attended event which took place on Thursday, 29th June at the forecourt of the Suame Magazine Branch was witnessed by dignitaries from various segments of public life including politicians, businessmen, influencers in the financial services industry, as well as a cross-section of the general public.  Managing Director of Heritage Bank Limited, Mr. Patrick Edwin Fiscian, in an address to the gathering, reiterated the Bank’s single-minded focus on customer convenience. He stated, “Convenience, we believe is the key to success. Convenience gives you, the customer, the time, space and freedom to explore, to grow your business and to achieve your goals – we believe that once you partner with us, it’s possible to achieve your goals.”  He urged inhabitants of Kumasi, especially the industrious communities of Suame-Magazine to troop to Heritage Bank and experience a world of possibilities with bespoke service and ultra-convenient banking at its best.

In the guest speaker’s keynote address, the Director of Banking Supervision at Bank of Ghana, Mr. Emmanuel Adwini Yeboah,  praised the Board and Management of Heritage Bank Limited for boldly pursuing their stated vision to build a home-grown banking institution that offers world class banking and responds with tailor-made products and services to the requirements of a Ghanaian clientele.  He encouraged them to place maximum priority on best practice in corporate governance and relevant innovation in order to increase customer satisfaction and extend the benefits of banking to unserved and underserved customer segments in the country.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Honourable Simon Osei-Mensah, who served as a special guest at the event also made a few remarks. He welcomed Heritage Bank into the Ashanti Region and encouraged them to continue to pursue their mission of creating convenience for customers, enabling them to attain their dreams and aspirations.

Other eminent persons who graced the launch were representatives of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Honourable Collins Owusu-Amankwah; MP for Manhyia North, Dr. Jonathan Annan; a lecturer at the Business School, KNUST and representatives of the MP for Suame and Majority Leader in Parliament, Honourable Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu.
